| I notice this happens a lot with Marty Robbins music. I heard a version of El Paso that's missing verses as well.
Why are they cutting parts out of this music ? It doesn't make sense. |

They have only so much "airtime"..and a good book would take 4hours on the screen.. |

| Air time on radio is often critical when decideng what to play and when, particularly if the news is due on the hour!
I know of 3 different versions of El Paso, and if you listen very carefully you can sometimes hear where it has been edited. The BBC always played a shortened version on a Saturday morning but a record shop will usually give you the original. |
